Want to get involved with our work and ensure your voice is heard? We run a range of research projects & campaigns througout the year to ensure our work remains student-led and that we can work towards implementing imporvements to our services (as well as lobbying the universities & FX Plus to do the same)! Plus, there's opportunities for you to represent your cohort through our academic representation structures.

Welcome (back) to University, we're super excited for the year ahead but we want to make sure that we know what matters most to you! This survey aims to gather insights on your preferences, motivations and how we can support you better. Your Truro Student Support Officer - Ruby Coleman

Hi, my name’s Ruby Coleman and I’m the Student Support Officer for all BMBS students based on Truro Campus! I support students with anything non-academic, so if there’s anything impacting or worrying you at the moment, please get in touch and we can arrange a Student Support Consultation. Your consultation enables you to have a chat about what’s been going on for you, consider the type of support you might find helpful, and together we can collaborate a support plan for you. When I’m not working, I really enjoy climbing/bouldering, but I’m afraid of heights, so I usually get stuck at the top and can’t get down!!! If you’d like to get in touch for an appointment, please email studentservices@fxplus.ac.uk ask for an appointment with me and pop in the subject line that you’re a Truro BMBS student.

BMBS Cornwall Student Experience Lead - Hannah Partington

Hello everyone! I’m Hannah, and my role is to work with you and my colleagues to make the student experience here in Cornwall an inclusive, supportive, enjoyable and fun one for everyone, no matter what your vibe is. From how to get your voice heard, to what you do in your down time, I’ll be liaising closely with your Programme Reps, MedSoc committee and other student representatives to improve, develop and make change happen. I’ve lived in Cornwall for 20+ years after moving down to attend Falmouth College of Arts (now University); palm trees, beaches, stunning scenery… I was sold! Outside of work, I love playing and watching sport, being out and about with my family and our wonderful dog, and making and eating cake. I’m always keen to hear from individual students directly too, so don’t be shy, drop me an email with any thoughts, concerns, ideas, or just if you fancy a chat and a slice of cake (have I mentioned I love cake???) at h.partington@exeter.ac.uk

Have a wonderful time in Cornwall.
