Hello! We are your Students’ Union President team and we’re so excited to welcome you back on campus! We can’t wait to meet you all and join in on all the fun you’ll be having during your welcome week.
Being an SU president means it’s our job to represent you as students within your university. We make sure that YOUR voice is heard and work hard to make your student experience the best it can be, from your campus to your course, societies and events, wellbeing to representation.
We each have a role that impacts a specific area of your university life:
Lauren Taylor, President Student Experience
I represent all things activities and facilities. Sports and societies, volunteering, events and campus spaces are all part of my job.
Kira Orchard, President Welfare and Inclusivity
I represent student wellbeing and inclusion. Equality, diversity and inclusivity are a huge part of what I do.
Georgi Griškeviciene, President Exeter
I represent your academic interests to the University of Exeter. I only represent University of Exeter students in Cornwall and work closely with the Guild in Exeter to ensure you are heard.
Luke Court, President Falmouth
I represent your academic interests to Falmouth University. I only represent Falmouth University students to ensure your academic experience is everything you want it to be.
Building community on campus and ensuring you have the best experience as a student is something we will all be focusing a lot of our time on during our run as Presidents. So be sure to get involved, feel inspired, and discover all the amazing things your Students’ Union has to offer!
Good luck with your time at university, we can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do!
