In light of recent global events in Ukraine and Russia, we want to remind all students that we are here to support you.
If you are impacted by the developing situation in Ukraine, we understand that this may be a challenging time for you and our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during this time.
SU Updates
Our spaces are open to our students to relax, take a break and unwind. Please come in and chat to the SU team.
Your SU Presidents have run two in-person Ukraine Gatherings and intend to run more in the future - our next gathering is online on Thursday 17th March 10:00 - 11:00. Find all the joining information here. We welcome any students affected by what is happening in Ukraine to come along to the Ukraine Gathering, connect with others and take time for reflection and support.
In light of the Make A Change proposal your SU Presidents called an emergency Student Council meeting to discuss whether the SU should take a stance on the Ukraine invasion. Your president team have now issued a statement outlining the SU's stance.
The SU continues to support all students, please get in touch if you have been affected by what is happening in Ukraine.
The SU is no longer accepting donations of items that will be sent to help those affected by the Ukraine crisis.
If you are planning any events or fundraisers, please let the SU know. We would love to help with promotion and support you where we can. Email the team on info@thesu.org.uk.
