Falmouth and Exeter Students’ Union welcomes new Chief Executive Officer, Angela Novell.
The incoming CEO will work with the elected Sabbatical Officers at The SU to create and deliver the strategic plan, and develop services and projects to enhance the student experience for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall.
Angela has worked in the voluntary sector for more than 20 years and brings her experience in values-led strategic leadership, business planning and community education to the team. She has held executive posts at award-winning charities in Buckinghamshire where in 2020 she led her former charity to be awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service.
Angela is a Vice Chair of governors at MK College Group and is a member and founder president of Soroptimist International Milton Keynes supporting women and girls; locally and through global initiatives.
In response to her appointment, Angela said, "I am delighted to return to Cornwall with my family and have the honour of joining this vibrant organisation as Chief Executive Officer; serving the Falmouth University and University of Exeter students.
