About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Engagement team, supporting and enabling union democracy, campaigning and change-making for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.
You will be a key champion of SU democratic processes, engaging students in the routes they can take to contribute to debate, discussion, and campaigning through their students’ union.
You will support sabbatical officers, student leaders and organisers in understanding how union democracy can help them make change happen, providing training for student leaders, and collecting and sharing key insights on what students want from their university experience.
The ideal candidate for this role would have an interest in democracy and democratic systems and experience collecting and analysing primary and secondary data to inform decisions and actions in an organisation. You will need to be confident engaging with our stakeholders including students, staff, Trustees, Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, to ensure that student activity is delivered safely and in an engaging way.
As this is a part-time role, we are open to accommodating flexible working patterns across a standard working week (Monday-Friday).
