Application deadline: Fri 02 Dec 2022
Details
This is a paid opportunity for current students.
The Partnership (consisting of Falmouth University, the University of Exeter, the Student Union and FXPlus) would like to hear the student voice more directly on several wellbeing and mental health related topics. We would like to recruit a panel of students to provide feedback on a range of topics. The aim would be to have an in-depth discussion once per term (either face-to-face, or online via Teams). There may also be a requirement for ad-hoc feedback e.g. short online surveys
Each student is an equal member of the panel. We ask that panellists:
- Participate honestly and constructively
- Respect others’ opinions and ensure they interact in a respectful way with fellow panellists
- Provide constructive opinions/feedback
- Ask questions and make suggestions
- Complete their responses within whatever parameters are set for each enquiry
Occasional homework or preparation may be required before some of the sessions. Where this is required, panellists will be given additional incentives for completion.
Please note: Applicants are required to be available on December 5th. The meeting should be about 2 hours.
What’s in it for the panellist
You will be helping to make sure that the University understands students’ needs about their Wellbeing. You will have real input into decisions that will affect current and future students.
You will get to meet new people, and it will also provide an opportunity to gain new skills and confidence. It’s a real chance to put communication skills into action and to demonstrate teamwork, time management, negotiation, and presentation/meeting skills, enhancing your CVs. They will be paid to do so. Students can opt-out of the panel at any point.
