‘Show Offs’

As part of your Falmouth Presidents’ manifesto goal to get more student work out into the wider university sphere - we are looking to commission a mural design outside the SU on Penryn Campus! ‘Show Offs’ is an initiative created to showcase and highlight the incredible student talent we have here in Cornwall from both Falmouth University and University of Exeter (Cornwall).

What’s in it for me?

As well as having your work displayed for all to see on Penryn Campus, you will be paid £500 pounds (!!) for creating an inclusive and vibrant mural which represents the core values of the Students’ Union and student life here in Cornwall. This could also be the perfect opportunity to uplift your creative portfolio and collaborate with the SU and both Falmouth and Exeter universities.

How To Apply

• You must be a student at either Falmouth University or University of Exeter (Cornwall)
• Download our PDF mural template, create your design however best suits you (e.g. with Illustrator, InDesign or Photoshop) - we just need to see your designs and creative vision clearly presented.
• Send your completed design (as a PDF), alongside any notes - such as paint colours you’ll need (please include as hex-codes) to info@thesu.org.uk with ‘Wall Mural Design Application’ as the subject line.  
• In your email application please provide a link to your portfolio with any previous design work and if you are painting the mural - any past experience that highlights your skillset in this area.
