Regardless of where or how you’re studying with Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall, there’s a rich offering of great events and activities to get involved with and opportunities to stay connected.

Join us for a kayaking taster session on the harbour!

This is a fun session to get to meet other students and learn some new skills whilst playing games and exploring the harbour!

Meet us at the Falmouth Watersports Centre (under Windjammer bar). Link to the location on Google maps HERE.

SIGN UP REQUIRED to secure a spot as we have a limited number of boats. Sign up here! (1 taster session per person, so everyone can have a go!)

If you can no longer make a session please remove your name from the sign up sheet to make space for others. If the sheet is already full, please keep checking back to see if spaces have become available again!

KIT REQUIRED:

Something to wear in the water eg: wetsuit, or joggers/shorts/leggings (you'll get wet!)
Closed toe footwear to wear in the boat eg: watershoes, old trainers. These are compulsory and will get wet.
A nice warm change of clothes! (We have changing rooms and showers available)
Towel

KIT ADVISED:

Plastic bag for wet kit
Hair tie for long hair
Bottle of water
Snack
A sense of adventure!

KIT PROVIDED:

Boat, paddle, helmet, spraydeck, buoyancy aid, cag (like a coat for kayaking in!)

If you own any of your own kit already, feel free to bring that along too!
