About the event

For Hist Soc's first guest speaker of the year, we are thrilled to be welcoming Janine Webber BEM from the Holocaust Education Trust to speak to us about her experiences of life as a Jew in occupied Europe.

From the HET: 'We educate and engage students from across the UK, from all communities about the Holocaust and there can be no better way than through the first-hand testimony of a survivor. Janine’s story is one of tremendous courage during horrific circumstances and by hearing her testimony, students will have the opportunity to learn where prejudice and racism can ultimately lead.'

The talk is free and open to all. No tickets are required.

This event is supported by the University of Exeter Teaching Excellence Framework Funding via the Students' Union.
