Join us for a birdwatching walk at Gylly Beach and Swanpool!

We will be meeting at 9:00am outside the Co-op at Gylly Beach before walking over to Swanpool; come along and see what birds we can find! We will be counting bird numbers within our survey areas of Castle Beach and Swanpool as part of the BTO's citizen science project 'WeBS' (Wetland Bird Survey) so this is a great opportunity to get to learn bird ID and survey techniques, beginners are welcome!

The footpath between Gylly and Swanpool is steep at points but the walk is otherwise reasonably gentle. We should be finished before 11:00am dependent on what bird species show up.

Binoculars will be provided but, if possible, bring your own as numbers are limited!
