About the event

Come along to our trip to Helston Loe Pool! This large lake (and adjacent Coronation Pond) are excellent spots for birdwatching, especially now in winter that we are getting more waterfowl. It should be a slow and easy walk around the lake looking for birds.

The path is flat but can get pretty muddy at times so is best to bring appropriate footwear. Also, good to bring warm clothing as near the lake, it can get quite cold!

We will meet at the bus stop at around 09:30 to take the U4 bus from campus at 09:48 arriving to Helston roughly at 10:20. We will then go towards the lake from here. We would be taking the return bus from the same place at 15:45 getting back to campus at around 16:12.
