About the event

Burnout is on the rise in student populations, and it can be extremely depleting and difficult to navigate. In this workshop, we will reflect on the reasons for burnout, including through a neurodivergent lens. We’ll work with a personalised framework to explore our own individual signs of approaching the state of burnout, and discuss methods of burnout recovery. Leave the workshop with a greater sense of self-compassion, kindness, and tools for moving forward!

There will also be FREE Pizza at this event!

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by Sophie Craven, a local writer, artist and facilitator, as well as co-founder of The Slow Work Garden. You can find out more about her work at theslowworkgarden.com, sophiecraven.com or via her Instagram @slc.arting.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at Exchange Courtyard Room 12, Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by taking the steps up from the train station, walking towards the lodge (provide further details or directions, even better if we can include pictures/videos).

Watch our Penryn Campus tour video to help figure out how to navigate your way to the venue..

What should I expect?
