Layers of Me by Rosie Parr

About the event

Join us in the Su on Penryn Campus for a viewing of Layers of Me by Rosie Parr. There will be food and drink while you take your time to view and take in the beautiful images that have been taken by Rosie to showcase that not all disabilites are visable. 

"Layers of Me raises awareness of hidden disabilities including chronic pain, mental health conditions and learning differences, within a university setting. Students with disabilities face challenges that frequently go unnoticed as their conditions are not visible.

I am Rosie Parr, a final year BA Photography Student at Falmouth University. I was diagnosed with Dyslexia and Meares-Irlen Syndrome at the age of seven."

Launch is 4pm - 5pm on Thursday 27th March and will be running utill the Friday 28th March. See you there!

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.
