About the event
This workshop allows you to explore, increase awareness and have open discussions around healthy and unhealthy relationships. The workshop delves into areas such as coercive control, what it looks like and how this can be core issue of an unhealthy relationship. This workshop is a safe space free of judgement and aimed to support and build understanding.
What is the key accessibility information?
There won't be loud noises or crowds at this event, but it may be busy travelling to the event. The Exchange Courtyard is fully accessibly through automatic doors and lift access through the Exchange Building. There is an accessible toilet near the venue. If you have any problems at the event, please chat to Lewis, who will be running the event.

Who is running the event?
This event is being run by Lewis Nurton from Exeter University, in collaboration with the SU. Lewis runs active bystander training and is involved in gender safety initiatives, training and projects across all campuses.

Where is the event taking place?
The event is taking place at Exchange Courtyard 8 on Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by taking the steps up from the train station, walking towards the lodge, and continuing into the Exchange building in the centre of campus. Walk up two flights of stairs or use the two lifts to leave the exchange building on the top floor. Then turn left and enter through the automatic doors.

What should I expect?
You should expect a small group being able to discuss these topics in a safe environment, with the facilitator coming from an empathetic viewpoint.
There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions.
This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.
If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
