About the event

Join us to learn more about your Sabbatical Officer Elections' Candidates as we ask them the all important questions!

This is your opportunity to learn more about the candidates ahead of voting and gives you the chance to hear more about what they'd do in the role if elected. Plus the first 50 students in attendance will recieve a drinks voucher!*

*This is valid for a half pint, excluding Guinness

What is the key accessibility information?

• This event is being held in the Stannary Bar so there may be some loud noise and crowds but we have plans in place should it get busy
• There are accessible & gender neutral toilets in this building nearby
• If you need a quiet space during this event, The Students' Union will be open or you will be close to the Library Retreat room - you are also welcome to come and go as needed.

Who is running the event?

This event is being hoste by Fina from The SU as well as members of The SU team. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at the Stannary Bar at Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by walking from the bus stop, into the Stannary and the bar is on the left handside.

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
