Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month with us at the SU in Penryn! Join us for a creative and inclusive badge-making session where you can design your very own customizable pronoun badges. We’ll provide a variety of drawing supplies, colourful materials, and a pin badge presser to help you bring your ideas to life. Whether you want to make a badge for yourself, a friend, or simply enjoy a fun and supportive crafting space, this event is open to everyone! Let’s come together to celebrate individuality, respect, and community in a welcoming environment.

This event should not be crowded, but there may be crowds or loud noises travelling to the event. The space is accessible with step-free access, and there is an accessible toilet next to the space. Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at the SU on Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by taking the steps up from the train station, walking towards the lodge, continuing past the Stannary Building, and making a slight right turn. Penryn SU is just behind the stannary.

What should I expect?

This event will be held in the SU and is intended to be a relaxed, inclusive environment where students can come and make pronoun badges. The badge making equipment will be controlled by a member of staff who will be instructed on the machine ahead of time.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
