About the event

October is Black History Month and this year we're uplifiting and celebrating Black voices in our student community.

A huge part of Black culture is music so join us for an R&B and Hip Hop night with Ghetto Orange at The Stannary.

Featured by BBC Music Introducing and a former student of Falmouth University, Ghetto Orange built the R&B and Hip Hop scene alongside his studies, creating creative spaces and networks for Black artists to learn, share and develop their music.

He founded Orange Fest, a series of annual events that brought R&B and Hip Hop to Falmouth, giving Falmouth students the nights out that they needed.

Venue

This event takes place at The Stannary at Penryn Campus. The event will be in the main Stannary space and set up for a gig night, similar to the events during Welcome Week.

What to expect

At the event, there will be bright lights, loud music and crowds of people. The bar will be open. There will be security and medical support available at the venue.

If you have any questions about accessibility or would like more information, please email info@thesu.org.uk.
