In this session we'll be showing Promising Young Woman (2020). Emerald Fennell’s darkly comedic thriller follows Cassie, a sharp-witted woman on a mission to right the wrongs of her past. Posing as a damsel in distress, she confronts predatory men to expose the toxic culture of consent and revenge. With a razor-sharp script and standout performance from Carey Mulligan, this bold, provocative film delivers a powerful commentary on justice and trauma.
