Hey hey lovely people! We're the English Society and we're a group of people with a huge love for books. We host a monthly book club and celebrate all things literature. Everyone is welcome!(:

We are a community of students across Falmouth University and Exeter (Penryn) University, united by our love for literature. Our principal goal is to organise a variety of events and opportunities for students to enjoy outside of lectures and seminars. We really hope to engage with students across cohorts and disciplines through a mix of literature and non-literature themed social events. Previous events included the New Year’s Ball, Cheese and Wine Night, and Cornage. We are excited to create more opportunities to socialise at book-related events and through our Book Club.
