Liberal Democrats Society

We are a society that is open to all students interested in politics, who would class themselves as politically central or just want to learn a bit more about the Liberal Democrats!

Our members have ran in both parliamentary elections and local elections, with our president having been the youngest candidate in the 2024 General Election and therefore if becoming a politician is something you're interested in FX LibDems can help.

You can network with guest speakers who have served in parliament, councils, and have years of experience in politics and working to make their communities better. We have regular meetings to discuss and debate issues ranging from drug legalization, electoral reform, and the challenges young people face in or country.

We work closely with Cornwall Lib Dems, regularly campaigning across the region and getting inspirational candidates elected.

We encourage everyone to get in involved. Even if you haven't been involved in party politics before, or just want to find out more about our party, please join the society or drop a DM to @fxsu.libdems for more information.
