RAD (Raise & Donate)

RAD is the fundraising society made up of students from both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Penryn Campus. Instagram Page- https://www.instagram.com/thesurad/

Many students' union around the country have a Raise and Give (RAG) group, but down here in Cornwall we thought we would mix it up a bit and decided that Raise and Donate was much better... RAD!

RAD stands for Raise and Donate and that’s exactly what we support you to do - raise thousands of pounds for local, national and internationally recognised charities. The only limit to what counts as a RAD event is your imagination and creativity. More traditional RAD activities include street collections, sponsored events, raffles, bingo, quizzes, themed nights, cake sales or jumble sales. We also have multiple Charity Challenges and events.

RAD is completely run by student volunteers and is a great way to gain events management, volunteer coordination, budget handling and leadership skills. If you’ve got what it takes, come and let us know.

We encourage students who wish to raise money for charities to join the society.

This year after re-starting the society we raised £1400 for 'Save the Children' to help support the children in Gaza !
