We are the university football team that comprises of Exeter, Falmouth and CSM students. We provide the highest standard of Football the Uni offers as we are the only Saturday league team on campus

CSM Football is the university team made up of students from Exeter, Falmouth, and CSM. We play at the highest level of university football, with recent achievements including being Bottle Match winners for six years in a row and inaugural University Cup champions, beating Tremough 4-1 and FXU 4-0. Our team consists of players with backgrounds ranging from Sunday League and 5-a-side to those who have trialed at Tottenham and played high on the football pyramid.

We train twice a week at Falmouth School on Tuesdays and Fridays and compete in the St Piran's Division 1 Saturday League, offering the highest standard of football the university has to offer.

Apart from our regular Saturday fixtures, one of the biggest highlights of the season is the Bottle Match in February, where we face our rivals at the Royal School of Mining (RSM) in London. It’s the only football varsity match the university has and is always an exciting weekend for all involved.

Another key event for CSM FC is the annual Barrel Match, where former players return to take on the current squad. This summer-term event is a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with alumni and celebrate our team's legacy.

Beyond football, CSM FC is known for its fun, themed socials held every week after our Saturday fixtures. These events, often in collaboration with other sports teams, are a great way to build team spirit and bond on and off the pitch. We’re the only football team that regularly organizes such events, making for a memorable experience for all our players!
