Pottery Society

Pottery Society offers weekly sessions at Nakü Pottery studio in Penryn. We aim to have fun and learn new skills together! Open to all.

Welcome to pottery society!

We aim to provide a relaxing, creative outlet for anyone wanting a break or looking to develop their artistic skills. Our goal is to create a welcoming space where people can unwind, connect with others, and get their hands dirty in clay.

We run weekly pottery sessions at Nakü Pottery, a mix of hand-building and throwing. Members can paint or glaze their own pieces, which are fired in the studio. 

Through the society we support a local independent pottery businesses and hope to form connections to the wider community.

Our first session is TBD

Each session ticket includes:

  • 3 hours of pottery in a beautiful studio
  • All equipment (clay, hand-building tools, wheels)
  • Underglazes for your piece
  • One of your pieces bisque and glaze fired!

There are 14 tickets available for each session, which will include at least 2 committee members.

These cost £7 each and include the firing and underglazing of one piece!
