Aerospace Medicine Society

Welcome to the Aerospace Medicine Society!

Aerospace medicine is a medical speciality in which the patients are pilots, astronauts, and passengers of air and space vehicles. It encompasses the study, prevention, and treatment of medical conditions related to flying, as well as the physiological effects of being in space.

We are a small group of students with a keen interest in this field who want to share their knowledge about this speciality with the wider student community. We are open to students both within and outside the medical field!

Our aims as a society are:

To raise awareness of Aerospace Medicine as a career
To provide educational events for students about topics relevant to Aerospace Medicine
To host social events to bring together students who are interested in Aerospace Medicine
