Truro Orthopaedic Society is a surgical society aimed at preparing and inspiring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons.

Truro Orthopaedic Society is a surgical society aimed at preparing and inspiring the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons. We will work alongside orthopaedic surgeons to provide teaching, workshop and placement opportunities.

Our aims and objectives:

To inspire our members to enter a career in orthopaedics.
To enhance orthopaedic education through organising surgeon-led virtual and in person teaching series covering anatomy, physiology and clinical orthopaedic presentations.
To provide CV building opportunities, by advertising orthopaedic teaching and research opportunities.
To organise orthopaedic placement opportunities for our members.
To organise surgical skills workshops to prepare members for a career in orthopaedic surgery.
